Research Directions:

(1) Research on digital twin brain based on brainnetome atlas.

(2) Research and development of bidirectional closed-loop brain-computer interface technology and systems.

(3) Precise diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases based on brain-computer interface technology.

Research Contents:

(1) Research on refined individual brain atlas partitioning and verification of its biological significance; based on dynamic modeling of fine brain atlas partitioning and brain functional activities, construct a prediction paradigm of brain functional activities and cognitive behaviors based on brain network dynamic models.

(2) Develop invasive and non-invasive optical/electrical detection and regulation technologies for brain activities; based on electrical stimulation technology, magnetic stimulation technology and electromagnetic superposition stimulation technology, realize individualized closed-loop regulation of brain activity detection, and realize the above-mentioned electrical/magnetic closed-loop regulation technology in a wearable form; develop real-time decoding algorithms for brain activities based on on-chip computing to achieve real-time closed-loop functions.

(3) Based on the above-mentioned bidirectional closed-loop brain-computer interface technology and digital twin brain computing model, realize precise diagnosis and subtype classification of intractable depression, pain, epilepsy and other brain diseases; study the evolution process and intervention mechanism of the occurrence and development of the above-mentioned brain diseases and realize dynamic optimization of prognosis judgment and intervention treatment process.
