We develop advanced optical technologies to interface with the primate brain, leveraging them to uncover the neural mechanisms underlying higher-order perceptual attributes—such as those related to speech, music, and the cocktail party effect—and to generate high-throughput functional data for training and aligning biologically realistic machine models with primate brain activity.
