Shengfeng Liu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor (2024–present) at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His work focuses on brain-atlas construction, brain-network analysis, and generative modelling of multimodal neuroimaging data. Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Information Processing from Shenzhen University and completed joint doctoral training in Computer Science at the University of Georgia (2019–2021). He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Zhejiang Lab (2022–2024).

His research is currently supported by a China Postdoctoral Science Foundation grant (2024–2026), a National Natural Science Foundation of China grant (2025–2027), and the 2023 Zhejiang Lab Youth Scientist Fund. To date, Dr. Liu has published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals, including Medical Image Analysis, Schizophrenia Bulletin, and Engineering.
